This is the only Charleston Tour including admission to Charleston Museum houses and buildings. Visit the Old Powder Magazine, the Edmondston Alston House and the Heyward Washington House as we stroll the city discussing the social, political, economic and environmental motivations that have resulted in a rich architectural legacy that is unique and absolutely Charleston! Highlighted topics discussed include the Charleston single house, piazzas, earthquake bolts, northside manners, and siege mentality. Along the way we will see and discuss some of the finest early architecture in the United States, with examples of Georgian, Federal, Regency, Greek Revival and Victorian styles along the route.

The price includes admission to the Powder Magazine (1713), The Heyward Washington House and Garden (1772) and the Edmondston Alston House (1825).
